Looking for some stock picks for 2011 ??   Below is a lsst of some of the Top Stocks I like in 2011.  This page will be used for the Top Stocks Gainers in 2011 once we acutally enter 2011.  Until then, these stock picks are some of the stocks to buy as we go into 2011.

Continental Resources Inc. (CLR) - 2011 is the year Oil trades back between $100-$120 with conviction.  Continental Resources is a leader in the Bakken Shale Oil Field located in North Dakota.  CLR also has acreage located in the three forks zone of the Bakken which is highly desirable right now.  I feel that CLR stock can trade between $60-$70 sometime in 2011.  As of April 2010, this would be an 80-120% gain in 12-20 months.  There isn't much downside right now currently at $37 per share.

Transocean Ltd. (RIG) - As CNBC's Jim Cramer Says - Transocean is the only game in town when it comes to ultra deep water drilling rigs.  If Oil does get back to $100-$120 like I expect, I think RIG stock can go to $150.  This would be a 90% gain from the $82 stock price currently in April 2010.  Transocean Ltd. provides offshore contract drilling services for oil and gas wells worldwide. The company offers deepwater and harsh environment drilling, oil and gas drilling management, and drilling engineering and project management services, as well as explores, develops, and produces oil and gas resources - Update June 2010 - Due to the BP Oil Spill, Transocean's stock declined significantly.  With the current decline below $60, I love this stock even more.  BP is at fault, Transocean just provides the drilling rigs.  I'd be a buyer below $60.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) - Apple  will be a hot stock pick in 2011 for sure.  The stock is trading at $231 going into April 2010 and as we head into 2011, Apple will still be selling a ton of Iphones as well as the new device, the iPad which hits stores in April 2010.  At some point in 2011, I think AAPL stock will hit $300-$320 pre stock split.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) - Chesapeake Energy is trading at $22.37 as we enter April 2011.  Natural Gas is currently $3.88 which is very low!  I expect Natural Gas to get back into the $6-$7 range in 2011 and for CHK to hit $38 per share.  This stock pick would become a 75% gain in 2011.  Chesapeake Energy Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, produces natural gas in the United States. The company focuses on discovering, acquiring, and developing conventional and unconventional natural gas reserves onshore in the United States, primarily in its six natural gas shale plays: the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin of north-central Texas; the Haynesville and Bossier Shales in the Ark-La-Tex area of northwestern Louisiana and east Texas; the Fayetteville Shale in the Arkoma Basin of central Arkansas; the Marcellus Shale in the northern Appalachian Basin of West Virginia, Pennsylvania; and New York and the Eagle Ford Shale in south Texas.

Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) - Shares of Green Mountain Coffee pulled back to $23 in May 2010 due to weak guidance.  I feel that shares of Green Mountain Coffee will outperform in 2011 and will hit $30-$35 per share.  Look to buy on any more weakness.
